Colon Hydrotherapy FAQs
-
Colon Hydrotherapy, “colonic irrigation”, or “colonics,” is a gentle and safe procedure that introduces warm, filtered water into the colon to encourage the natural elimination of waste. It helps support digestive wellness by hydrating the colon and promoting regularity.
-
Colon hydrotherapy is often described as a gentle and comfortable experience. Sessions take place in a clean, calm, and private setting with access to a private bathroom.
During the session, you will rest on a comfortable table while temperature-controlled, purified water is introduced in a slow, controlled manner as part of a guided process. The session typically lasts around 45 minutes and is supported by a trained colon hydrotherapist who remains present to guide you throughout.
Your comfort, privacy, and dignity are always respected. After the session, you’ll have time to use the private restroom at your own pace.
We use FDA-registered equipment and a closed system designed for a clean and discreet experience. Single-use, disposable supplies are used for each client, and all equipment and spaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between sessions.
-
You can schedule your session online through our booking system or call us at (857) 997-9077 to book your appointment.

Many clients share that they feel lighter, more refreshed, and less bloated after a session. Experiences can vary from person to person. Colon hydrotherapy may be included as part of a personal wellness routine and is often paired with other self-care practices to support a sense of balance and overall well-being.
-
While some beneficial bacteria may be removed during the process, they can be replenished by consuming probiotic-rich foods and supplements. Maintaining a healthy diet helps restore balance in the gut.

Most clients report that the experience is comfortable and relaxing once the session begins. Some may feel mild pressure or cramping sensations, similar to the feeling of needing to use the restroom, but this is typically brief and subsides as the session progresses. Individual experiences may vary.
-
Your comfort is our priority. If at any point you feel uncomfortable or prefer to stop, simply let your therapist know and your session will be ended. Your experience is always guided by your preferences, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
-
Everyone’s experience can vary, so it’s difficult to predict exactly how you’ll feel afterward. Most clients are able to continue with their day as usual, while others may choose to rest or take it easy. Some may notice temporary sensations such as mild cramping or changes in appetite.
We encourage you to listen to your body and respond in a way that feels supportive for you.
-
The number of sessions can vary based on individual preferences and wellness goals. Some clients choose a single session, while others prefer a series as part of their ongoing self-care routine.
Your ideal schedule can be discussed during your initial session, where we take time to understand your preferences and create a personalized approach.
Some clients choose to incorporate sessions regularly as part of their overall wellness practices.

In some cases, specialized, FDA-cleared colon hydrotherapy systems may be used as part of colonoscopy preparation when coordinated with a healthcare provider. This approach uses warm, filtered water to support bowel preparation and may be scheduled close to the time of the procedure.
Colonoscopy preparation requirements can vary, so we recommend consulting with your medical provider to determine what option is appropriate for you.
