Colon Hydrotherapy
A gentle, water-based session designed to support comfort and relaxation.
What is Colon Hydrotherapy?
Colon Hydrotherapy, also referred to as "colonics," is a procedure that introduces warm, filtered water into the colon to support the natural elimination of waste. The gentle inflow of water is always adjusted to your comfort level, and the release of waste is guided by your body’s own natural movement. Each session is tailored to provide a supportive and relaxing experience.
Our certified colon hydrotherapists follow industry safety standards, using FDA-certified closed-system equipment and one-time-use disposable speculum kits to ensure hygiene and client safety.

To ensure the best possible experience, we will provide you with a detailed preparation guide before your appointment. Below are some general suggestions to help you get ready:
Hydration is Key
Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water daily for at least two days before your session. (For example, if you weigh 150 lbs, aim for 75 oz of water per day.)
Proper hydration helps soften stool and supports a more effective colonic experience.
Eat Light & Clean
Stick to whole, plant-based, and fiber-rich foods leading up to your session.
Ideal foods: vegetables, fruits, leafy greens, smoothies, broths, gluten-free whole grains (quinoa, brown rice, amaranth, millet), nuts, seeds, and lean proteins like fish or legumes.
Avoid processed foods, fried foods, dairy, red meat, heavy grains, and excessive sugar for at least 24 hours before your appointment. These can create excess mucus and gas in the colon.
Avoid Irritants & Stimulants
Refrain from caffeine, alcohol, dairy, carbonated drinks, and artificial sweeteners before your session, as they may cause bloating or dehydration.
Avoid smoking or consuming nicotine before your appointment.
Timing Your Meals
Refrain from eating or drinking anything (except water) at least 2 hours before your appointment.
This allows your digestive system to be in a more relaxed state, making the session more comfortable.
Plan for Relaxation
Arrive 10 minutes early so you can settle in and not feel rushed.
Take deep breaths and focus on relaxation; this helps with a smoother experience.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to feel at ease.
Communication & Questions
If you have any concerns, medical conditions, or are currently taking medications, consult with us before your session so we can ensure your comfort and safety.
First-time clients will receive a detailed walkthrough of the proccess and have time to ask any questions before beginning.

We will provide you with a detailed post-care guide to help you feel your best after your colonic session. Below are general suggestions to support your body’s natural detoxification and recovery process.
Stay Hydrated
Continue to drink plenty of water (at least half your body weight in ounces) to support elimination and hydration.
Herbal teas and coconut water are also great choices to replenish electrolytes.
Eat Light & Nourishing Foods
Stick to easy-to-digest, whole foods for the next 24-48 hours to avoid discomfort.
Recommended foods:
Steamed vegetables (zucchini, carrots, spinach, etc.)
Clear broths & soups
Smoothies & fresh juices (without added sugars)
Whole grains (quinoa, brown rice, millet, amaranth)
Lean proteins (lentils, beans, white fish, tofu)
Foods to avoid:
Dairy, red meat, fried or processed foods, sugar, alcohol, and excessive caffeine. These can cause bloating or discomfort.
Be Mindful of Your Body’s Response
You may notice increased bowel movements or slight gas as your body adjusts. This is normal.
Some clients describe feeling lighter and more refreshed, while others may notice temporary fatigue following a session. Experiences can vary from person to person.
If you feel bloated, you may find it helpful to sip on peppermint or ginger tea.
Gentle Movement & Rest
Light activities like walking, stretching, or Yoga can help stimulate digestion.
Avoid intense exercise or heavy lifting for the rest of the day.
Probiotic Support
To replenish healthy gut bacteria, consider adding probiotic-rich foods to your diet. Examples:
Fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, miso, and coconut yogurt
A high-quality probiotic supplement (we can recommend options if needed)
Avoid Overeating
Eat small, balanced meals instead of heavy or large portions.
Listen to your body. If you're not hungry right away, it's okay to wait before eating.
Allow Time for Your Body to Rebalance
Your body may continue to release waste for a few hours to a day after the session.
If you feel the need to rest, honor that and take it easy.
Schedule Your Next Session (If Needed)
Regular sessions may be an option to explore, depending on your wellness goals and preferences.
If this was your first session, we can discuss a plan that works best for you.
